Jim Davies, with long experience in the Royal Air Force, local government and business consultancy, has been a member of Stone Town Council for 8 years and Town Mayor twice. He has worked tirelessly to promote the image of Stone throughout the local area and beyond. In particular, he founded the Stone Area Parish Liaison Group, which has proved extremely valuable in bringing together our local parishes. In 2016 he was one of the first to have a vision of the Crown Wharf theatre, which now should open this year.  Jim is also a member, current chairman and past chairman of a number of community organisations in the Town.

Lin Davies has served on both the Town Council and the Borough Council starting in 2000 for a national political party. However, she soon realised that being an Independent was the best way to freely represent the electorate locally.
Subsequently she stood as an Independent and has done so ever since. A highly experienced therapeutic counsellor Lin has been busy as a volunteer in many local community organisations and is a member of a local ministry team. People are the focus of all she does and, if elected, Lin will continue to champion value for money, free speech, responsible behaviour, respect and law and order.
