Stone Independents believe that working in concert with our neighbouring parishes regarding matters of mutual interest is very valuable.   Together we have a louder voice at the Borough Council than as individual town and parish councils. Stone's voice is 5 seats out of 48. 

In 2016 Stone Independents, as majority party on the town council, inaugurated quarterly liaison meetings to which eight of our neighbouring parishes are invited under the chair of Jim Davies.
